FAQ for the wedding gelato truck

These answers are the same facts we already publish on Catering Services and the flavor list — prepaid events, the trailer, generators, and allergens. Nothing here is a new promise.

Gelato Brothers event trailer serving espresso and gelato at an East Tennessee wedding
How does booking the gelato truck work?

The truck is prepaid. The published start is $2,000 plus a required $300 trip fee — $2,300 to start. That food minimum covers gelato and coffee for up to 166 guests ($12) or gelato only for up to 200 ($10). There is no POS and no per-scoop checkout at a private event.

Do guests pay at the truck?

No. Guests never pull a wallet. The host pays before the event so the line stays a celebration, not a checkout.

What size is the trailer, and do you need power?

The trailer is 16 feet; hitched to the truck it is about 34 feet (16-foot trailer plus an 18-foot truck). Two generators run the service — one for a tent, one for the trailer. They are the quietest in the industry; European deep house covers leftover hum so guests hear music, not machines.

What do you serve at a wedding or event?

Espresso, gelato, and Brodallions® from the event trailer. Four flavors sit in the case at a time. For a wedding we recommend three dairy gelatos, one sorbetto, and two extra tubs in the freezer.

Do you have a gluten-free, nut-free, or vegan option?

Almost all flavors are gluten-free; Worlds-Best Milk & Cookies contains wheat, and Brodallions® waffle chips and waffle cones are made with wheat. Sorbetto is the dairy-free, egg-free, and vegan answer. Some flavors contain nuts or egg — those are named on the flavor FAQ. Every flavor is produced in a facility that also handles peanuts, tree nuts, milk, wheat, and soy, so we cannot promise zero cross-contact. Tell us about an allergy when you book and we use a dedicated scoop.

Is there a drop-off option without the truck?

Yes. Tak-A-Way is the drop-off path, published from $650. Corporate events that want the truck start at $3,000 plus the $300 trip fee.

Where is Gelato Brothers based? Is the Talbott shop open?

We book from Cedar Pond Farms at 1369 Collins Road, New Market, TN 37820. Phone 865-630-0107. The Talbott scoop shop on US-11E is closed; that story lives on the Talbott Flagship page.

Venue coordinators: the trailer is built for a wedding timeline — prepaid, no guest wallets, espresso + gelato + Brodallions®. See who we already serve on the venues directory or the full catering menu.
